Hi,
My freshman year in college I had major medical problems and it caused me to get below a 2.0. I decided to take time off from my school this year to work on my health. I am 100% better (i've been out of school for this whole year) and am finally ready to go back to school. But i've recently decided that the school I went to last year might not be the right fit for me and want to apply somewhere else. I have taken a medical leave from school this year and am curious what my chances are getting in to other places since my grades were so highly influenced by my health and are so low. Will schools still consider me even though my undergrad grades are horrible? I only have about 15 credits. My high school grades are really good. Above a 3.5.

Can anyone give me some advice? I am going to be taking a non-degree class locally but that won't boost my gpa just give me credit. I really would like to apply for the fall and get moving with my life again. Will schools look past my grades due to my condition?

any help will be much appreciated!!!
