<p>Right now I am a full time student at Thomas Edison State College (Thomas</a> Edison State College)
and I would like to transfer to my local community college, WVU-P (WVU</a> Parkersburg: Your education is waiting.)</p>
<p>In January, I paid my annual tuition for TESC, so technically I am oweing them $1600. However, I've been a financial aid student, and I am due to apply for financial aid to receive money for July. </p>
<p>I can not get my transcripts from TESC (I will have 27 credits at the end of June, and 30 credits at the end of July) until I have no outstanding financial obligations. Unfortunetly, I can't afford $1600 out of pocket. </p>
<p>What do I do? </p>
<p>Do I apply for financial aid at TESC, accept just the pell grant, then Register for classes. Meanwhile request my transcripts (of 30 credits) to be sent to WVUP? Then request to withdrawl from the classes and TESC? </p>
<p>Would I then be able to apply for financial aid at WVUP to receive a loan? </p>
<p>I have emailed WVUP a couple days ago but have not gotten a response. This is driving me crazy :(</p>
<p>Have you tried calling TESC?</p>
<p>You can do 2 ways. 1st way is ask s.o to let you borrow some money to pay for the TESC tuition and pay them back with the subside loan. 2nd way is you will take some general class at CC (some class doesn’t have pre-requisite). Get the subside loan and pay the TESC tuition.</p>
<p>Now, what if I did this?</p>

But in July, also enroll at WVUP and apply for financial aid and accept a loan instead and register for fall 2010?
Then after my transcripts are sent to WVUP, withdraw from classes at TESC and the school all together. </p>
<p>What would happened? Nobody in my family has this kind of money to help me out :(</p>
<p>you have to pay back the grant when u drop all the class. you can do the 2nd way, cc dont require ur transcript unless u take some pre requisite class such as cal 2 chem 2…</p>
<p>Ah i see, what if I take out the loan at TESC instead of the grant? Same thing, I have to pay it back?
The reason I want to send my transcripts is because I have 30 credits and have done all the general education classes (english comp, math, etc etc) </p>
<p>Could I apply to WVUP, and still get financial aid at both schools? Then send in my transcripts a couple months later?? I thought you needed to send in transcripts when you apply to a new school</p>
<p>it will be the same thing when you take a loan at cc. the loan isnt available after the school start 3 or 4 week</p>
<p>i beleive you can give cc your unofficial transcript. you can give them official transcript later</p>
