Hi all,

My son had to leave an ivy league school due to a horrible depression. He took time off to recover and started taking classes at the decently regarded state uni (nothing super prestigious but certainly perfectly respectable I'd say). Fortunately he is doing better and is set to graduate not too far away. He was asking me about his resume, as to whether he should put the original school on it, or not. There would be a year gap that could be identified between the two schools two. And if he did put it he'd have to either say it was a health situation, a financial situation, or a family situation, and these would have to account for that one year gap too, I suppose. Any advice? I'm not sure what to tell him and he wants to do well on any interviews.

Much thanks for the help.
