Transferring and SAT Subject Tests

I'm currently a senior at a prestigious, top 50 in US, high school. I have a 2.5 GPA but got a 2100 on SAT (1450 old) and a 33 on ACT (31/30/33/36/6). As such, my plan is to transfer from a less exclusive college into a top-tier one, after maintaining a better GPA.
The problem I'm having though, is that I never took SAT Subject Tests. Is it too late for me to take them? I wouldn't be using them for admissions now, just for transferring later on. Math 2 is a guaranteed 700+ for me, and Physics I would have to do minimal studying for.

Also, if I retake SAT and ACT and do great, take the SAT Subject Tests, and do better in college, would that make up for my high school GPA?

It depends on the schools.
From a school’s website [I</a> want to transfer but I don’t have 30 credits. What are my chances?](http://www2.middlesexcc.edu/services-and-support/transfer-center/mcc-transfer-guide/i-want-to-transfer-but-i-dont-have-30-credits-what-are-my-chances.html)

That also includes test scores.

It’s not too late to take Subject tests, but whether or not they are necessary/helpful depends on:

What year you transfer (as a soph or jr).

What school you transfer to, not all recommend or require Subject tests for transfers.

I live in NYC so I’m mostly considering schools like Columbia, Cooper, etc. for transfer. They require the Subject Tests.

Columbia does not require SAT subject tests for transfers. I actually think that it’s nervy that colleges ask university students for SAT subject tests. They are essentially asking students to go back and relearn high school material which is very time consuming (and pointless); university students have a busy enough schedule already.

By the way, you won’t transfer into any top 50 with a 2.5 GPA. Columbia recommends 3.5 as a minimum. Assuming this is your first semester, you would have to get 4.0 in both of your next ones to meet this requirement to transfer as a junior.

I’m a high school senior, 2.5 is my GPA up to this year, it’s roughly a 3.5-3.7 now
