Well here is the deal. Today I am going to apply to Kean University in New Jersey. It is one of the lower schools in New Jersey but I figure it would be easier to transfer and being admitted to a better school from there rather than a Community College. I am not asking you guys if Ill get in, but what are my chances getting into a better school if I keep at least a 4.0 at Kean for a semester or maybe even my whole freshman year.

I'll throw it out there now. My highschool stats arent too great. I have little volunteer work, absolutely no EC's, and my GPA is very low. If I start getting involved in and outside of school, keep a high GPA, and just let my colors show, do I have a shot at transferring and being admitted to a good school? I would LOVE to transfer to a private liberal arts school! Would it be possible from what I stated above?

Thanks!
