Transferring as a sophmore

I am undecided Physics or Chemistry major/Theatre minor at my local CC, had a very bad HS GPA (1.9). I just finished my first semester and got 3 A’s and 1 B which puts me at a 3.750 GPA. I realized that I will not be taking any credit worthy Math classes until my second year at CC, and I plan to transfer after my second year at CC. Since I will be taking Freshmen level math/science courses my second year can I apply as a sophomore even though I have 2 years of college? By the time I transfer I will have 42 transfer credits. So far my classes are/going to be;

1st semester:
English Comp 1 (A)
Myth and Fairytales (A)
Philosophy of Religion (A)
Intro to Archeology (A)

2nd Semester (current):
Principles of Acting
Intro to Theatre
Math (Not transferable)

Fall semester 2015
Pre-Calc
General Physics 1
General Chemistry 1
English Comp 2

Spring semester 2016
Calculous and Analytic geometry
General Physics 2
General Chemistry 2
Acting 2

You’ll need good test scores and are going to need to be able to explain why your high school GPA was so low. Also, if you’re from New York State and are going to a CC in NYS, then your chances are much higher for admission into CALS, Human Ecology, or ILR.
