Transferring as a undeclared?

I've applied to several universities and one of them (binghamton) only offers accounting in their school of management which is very difficult to get into. To increase my chances for my admission, I applied as undecided. I've been hearing that applying as an undecided transfer looks bad and I should probably put finance, or something similar to that. I am interested in finance as well. My question is, should I change the "undecided" to "finance"?

Thank you in advance for your help.

bump anyone?

Honestly, I would. I have heard that as well that declaring an undecided is risky, and that colleges really want you to have picked a major by the time you transfer.

I have heard, as a trick to get in, you declare a major that isn’t what you want. And then once you get accepted, you change it. I dunno how well that works, but I have had quiet a few graduates tell me this.

At least it would look better to the school to have something decided than nothing.

^pretty much this. You should pick something and then mention in it your supplementals.
