So I attend CSUB right now as a Business Administration with a Accounting Concentration Major. I want to transfer schools and I will be a sophomore in the fall, so I’ll be applying to CSU Fullerton, CSU San Marcos, SJSU, SFSU, Sac State, Sonoma State and UCR to transfer. I’m kind of worried because my gpa is kind of low since I failed 1 class this past semester that I will be retaking in the fall. My GPA is a 2.90 right now, if I had not failed the class I would have a 3.20 right now. I’ll be applying in the fall, and retaking the class in the fall. So do I have a good chance of getting into those school? And will most of the credits transfer over?
Assuming you’ve passed the right classes, I think you’ll make SFSU. Sonoma and San Marcos.
As you can see from the links, (which show the historic transfer GPA by major) Sac and SJSU could go either way
SJSU

Sac

UCR and Fullerton are unlikely at 2.9.
Getting your GPA back to 3.2 would put you comfortably in at Sac and SJSU but, probably not UCR.
Good luck
