If a student begins in FYE and wants to transfer to CS at some point, how difficult is it?
DD2 has been admitted to engineering, and plans to study Chem Eng.
DD1 is a CS major at another college. She really likes it and is trying to convince DD2 to switch.
At this point, I think DD2 will stay in Chem Eng. However, I wanted to know how difficult it is to change, just in case.
@Much2learn I asked somebody I know at Purdue and he said it’s not very difficult to transfer from Engineering to any other program, provided you have a good gpa.
I’m in a similar condition right now. I got accepted to FYE and want to switch to CS. They have this online form where we can make changes to the application.
Let’s say I submit a request for change of major, will my admission offer be rescinded? If that’s the case, I think I’m happy with CE xD
