I have heard many mixed opinions about trasferring from one UC to another UC. Certain people consider as easy as dropping a class when others say it's next to impossible.

I understand that community college transfers are the top priority for UCs - especially with the budget crisis in California now - but with a decent gpa and good recs can it still be done?

This process is not impossible, but then again, it is far from a piece of cake, and isn't on the same level as transferring from a community college.

If you have great stats, remember you are going against CC transfers that have the same gpa and grades as you do. Go in with the thought that the CC'ers will have the advantage over you when it comes down to the line, unless of course you have the edge as far as EC's and quality of essays go.

Good Luck.
