Rec letters could go any direction

I like Tufts very much, but I know that I am better suited to a more engaging academic environment with more engaging professors. While the academics here are certainly challenging, I know that I will make a greater impact on the world with the benefit of a school with better opportunity and connection. I am unsure, however, what would make me different, special or worthy of gaining transfer admissions to schools of such high caliber.

I go to a university similar to Tufts and I am applying as a transfer to all of the places you have listed (with a few realistic alternatives). I also have similar stats to yours. I am definitely not placing all of my faith in these top transfer spots and I don’t think you should either.

I should also note that Yale, Harvard, and Stanford’s transfer rates are ridiculously low (1-4%).

I agree. I was merely applying to a few top schools that I think I would be much better suited for. If I can’t gain admission I will undoubtedly stay right where I am. Just out of curiosity, where do you go?
