<p>I was admitted into Warren for computer science and I was wondering how I would go about transferring into Muir. I haven't found anything on transferring for prospective freshmen. Any help would be awesome.</p>
<p>I'd prefer Muir, but are there any huge benefits to being in Warren as a comp. sci major? (easier to collaborate with classmates or something?)</p>
<p>It says you can’t change colleges until after you complete the college’s writing sequence, and even then, you would have to demonstrate that switching colleges would help you graduate faster. So switching now is a no-go as the shortest writing sequences are 3 quarters [one full school year]</p>
<p>As an engineer, i don’t see why you would want to move from warren. You have easier GE’s and since you’ll be spending many late nights in the computer science building, it’s good that warren is just a short walk away.</p>
<p>Please don’t buy into all the sterotypes that Warren is full of nerds. (and ucsd is socially dead) Also, as heartarrow said, switchng is most likely extremely difficult. I have never met a person who has switched colleges.</p>
