Transferring colleges, need some advice

Hi, so I am currently a freshman in Dominican college of blauvelt(Commuter) and Im not really satisfied with my experiences there. I want to go to a more prestigious one. I feel kinda ashamed because Im an asian and asians are supposed to be smart, yet I go to dominican college... where the not so smarts go.. All my friends(Asian) go to top schools like NYU, stevens institute, duke, tufts, rutgers.. and Im the only one going to such a low leveled school..And besides, the work is so easy there especially math. So I am considering transfering to maybe rutgers new brunswick or something I havent decided yet because I dont know if I really want to dorm. As we all know college is a big part of our life and I want to be recognized as the person who went to a good college. Like, when I make new friends and asks me where I went in college and I say "dominican college", now thats kinda embarassing tbh.

Ok so enough of background info, I want to ask if it is really possible for me to go to a univeristy like rutgers from dominican college. Do I need to achieve good grades there in dominican or do my high school SAT scores and grades reflect them too? What are the steps and the requirements?

Free bump for you. :-)

Also, high school record is considered, I think, especially for first-year transfer students.

Why did you choose Dominican in the first place? Were you rejected by other schools?

No i was also accepted to WPU, york college, and lehman and johnjay college. Yeah… all the low leveled ones… I was kinda scared that I wont ever be accepted into one of those top rank schools so I didnt apply to any of them. Well I applied to ramapo and baruch but got rejected by both.
