<p>I recently got WL and I did priority waitlist.
However, I got rejected from my first choice (Engineering) and I am waitlisted for CAS.</p>
<p>Does anyone (from Carnegie) know how difficult it is to transfer colleges?</p>
<p>Like if I get off the WL I want to transfer to Engineering or Tepper the next year (or even semester - if possible).</p>

<p>We go to Carnegie Mellon, not Emory, and you’re waitlisted at the college of Humanities & Social Sciences. You were rejected from the Carnegie Institute of Technology. I have no idea what CAS is supposed to be. I can see you really care about this college. </p>
<p>It is difficult to transfer to Tepper or CIT from HSS, moreso CIT than Tepper, since as a freshman you will not be able to get into many Tepper or CIT courses, only perhaps Econ in HSS. Talk to your counselor about trying to transfer and he or she will help you pick appropriate “weeder” courses to take.</p>

<p>I realized the science college is called MCS and thats what I was WL at.
The reason I put Emory was because I was reading something about it and I didn’t even know that I put Emory.</p>
