Does anyone know how well credit transfers? I have 76 credits from the Univ of North Texas (I'm a TAMS student), but I've got a bunch of mixed reports on how well they transfer into MIT

Someone said that math would be really easy to transfer (with just a syllabus), while chem/bio/physics don't transfer at all, and English is a weak maybe. I just want to know how many tests I should prepare for this summer =)

Anyone else out there with this issue and have an idea on how it all works out?

Thanks

Well, the list of transfer credit examiners is [here, and you're probably best off contacting them with a syllabus.

Chemistry almost looks like more trouble than it's worth](http://web.mit.edu/firstyear/transfer/credit/examiners.html), especially since it takes so long for them to review it -- to be on the safe side, you'd probably have to take the ASE anyway.

Bio might transfer, as long as you want credit for 7.01x and not anything with bells and whistles.

I have a couple of friends who got HASS transfer credit, and even HASS-D transfer credit, so you may as well try with that English stuff.
