Transferring Credits/ FIT

I am currently about to finish my freshman year at Columbia University. I have known I want to pursue fashion design for as long as I can remember, but my parents are making me complete my Columbia degree. Currently I am taking Sewing Techniques I at FIT, and I will be taking Draping I, Sewing II and Patternmaking I over the summer and CAD for Fashion Design next fall. I'm in-state, so FIT courses for me cost $200-400 each while Parsons courses would be $700.

I can't afford to take all these courses at Parsons, but I do hope to eventually complete a second bachelor's at Parsons because I know they have better connections than FIT so it's worth the money to take advantage of that. I also realize that attempting to transfer to Parsons after completing the FIT AAS would be a bad idea because I know Parsons isn't really into taking FIT transfers.

My question is, would the credits I'm taking now at FIT (and will continue to take over the next three years) as a non-degree student transfer to Parsons to allow me to come in as a sophomore, etc.? Or would they be too snobby to take the transfer credit from FIT? Does anyone know of someone who transferred from FIT to Parsons successfully or applied FIT credits to a Parsons degree?
