Transferring credits to different college next year......?

I currently have 9 total credits but will have 27 credits by the end of the semester for my Freshman year at my current college. However, only 24/27 credits that I have are transferable since I got a D+ for one of my grades which is not transferable. I was thinking about taking 2 summer classes to get 6 credits so I would have 30 by the beginning of the fall term of my sophomore year. I talked to my college adviser and he said that if I apply for spring term 2015, that my fall term of my sophomore year credits will transfer over and I will have a total of 24+ 12 credits (36) credits if I apply for spring term 2015. I was wondering if my credits for my freshman year will be added to fall sophomore year if I apply in September of my sophomore year? Much thanks in advance

Whenever you apply, for this fall or the following spring, the school you transfer to will look at all the courses completed by the time you matriculate for transfer credit.

Great, thanks for the info. What a bummer though, I heard that if I apply in September for Spring term, I will get a decision mid-october, so the fall credits will not be included in the transfer. Anyways, thank you very much for your input!

The grades for fall semester won’t be available when decisions are made, but the credits will count if you are accepted.
