I apologize in advance if I have not posted this in the correct section - let me know and I’ll move it!
I have taken college algebra many times now and I have not passed. I would like to take it during the summer at a community college. During the semester I am very busy as I work full time and I also have to practice my violin at least two hours every day. Taking this class outside the university would also offer me more guidance from the instructor since it is a smaller class. I’ve asked my advisor and she will not answer my question. She just says it would be “better” if I took it through my university.
I’m worried that my university won’t accept the credit from a community college since I’ve already taken the class at university and failed. I don’t know who ask beyond my advisor.
Does anyone have any advice/recommendations? Do you know what your university’s policy is on this?
