Transferring Credits

I was wondering if you can transfer credits to USMMA?
I have taken an English Comp. 101 class and recieved a 88 for my final grade. Will that get me out of English 1 my first year at USMMA? I've also have taken a Brit Lit. 212 class if that means anything.

I also am hoping to major in marine transportation (deck). One of the classes you take your first year is Probability & Statistics. It says it is a 210 class on the website. I am currently taking a Probability & Statistics class that is a 210 class as well. Can I transfer out of that?

Thanks

I've known many kids who freshman year, if you've taken an equivalent college or AP course, were able to drop the course here. Just gives you more off time during the day, huge plus.

Hey, I am in the same boat. I have taken English 1301 and 1302, US History course( I dont remeber the course numbers), US Government GOVT-2301, and Economics course(Ecom-2301). Will these transfer to the academy? Also if they do, do i need to talk to them about it or will the acdemy not put me in those classes because of my college transcript i sent to them?

Hopeful... great questions.
Although some admissions reps help out here, you have a very specific question, and the kindly folks at Admission have the 100% correct answer. Give them a call, and (if you'd like) , post a summary for other hopefuls to benefit from your investigation....
There may be some folks who know how this has been handled in the past... but I'd get the straight gouge from Admissions.
Best of luck to you.

The admissions office will not help. You need to get in touch with the respective department head, whether humanities and marine transportation. They are the ones who make that call whether they will count a previous class or not. Given from what I have seen from my classmates, I do not see a reason why KP cannot exempt you from US history and econ.
