Transferring for a better chance at high ranked med school

My D1 was recently admitted to FSU Med. Honestly, a high MCAT (30+) a strong GPA in core courses, competitive ECs and a solid interview will get you admitted to most med schools. Conversely, if you attended Cornell and earned a 25 MCAT and a 3.0 GPA you’re not likely to get into any med school.

I suspect the NYU guy is simply biased. It happens.

If you don’t earn the high MCAT and GPA even graduating from Harvard won’t get you admitted to an allopathic U.S. med school.
