Transferring for a better chance at high ranked med school

Hi,
I'm attending FSU right now and spoke with an NYU adcom who told me my best bet was to switch to a higher ranked school, before applying.
Stats:
College GPA: 3.65, after this semester(spring) either 3.72 or 3.81
HS GPA: 4.3
SAT:1170/1800
ACT: 27
EC: HS: Swimteam, several clubs, College: Several Clubs

My status is sophmore since spring, because I brought in some summer college credits before my freshman year.
Can anyone tell me if these stats are good enough for any of the following?
NYU, Northwestern, UC Berkley/LA, Cornell, GW.
I checked out some schools GPA requirements but they vary by Sophmore/Junior standing.

My major is Chem Engineering right now. I dont know if that makes a difference.
If I go to cornell I would switch to Bio Engineering

FSU is Florida State University right?

I know someone who got into Washington University School of Medicine from a Florida state university…
UC Berkeley is really difficult for out-of-staters. I’d say you’ll be stronger for Northwestern and Cornell.
Really not sure how transfers work, but that’s my two cents.
Why did your counselor say you should switch schools?
As long as you keep up a good GPA and get involved in school you should be fine for med school…

Please chance me for WUSTL:

My counselor never said anything.
Im friends with an adcom at NYU who said that I would look better to NYU med if I switch out.
Are you saying its harder to get into UC Berkeley than Cornell?
