I'm a freshman that is currently going to suny buffalo because I was waitlisted/rejected from binghamton when i applied to get in as a freshmen. I want to take another chance at getting in, as a transfer that is going to be psychology major.
-I have 6 credits from ap tests
-my SAT score is 1950 (610R/670M/670W)
-my final HS transcript was 89.2. (my hs guidance counselor said that since my high school was brooklyn tech, it added a little omph to it, but i dont really believe him)

What can I do in Buffalo to boost my chances at transferring?

Hello! I am glad to hear you are reapplying! As for what you can do, just try and get the best GPA you can achieve and also try to maintain an active extracurricular background. Binghamton loves when its students not only succeed inside the classroom, but as a part of the overall community they are in. Good Luck!

I am thrilled to see you want to transfer to Binghamton I actually just transferred here from another SUNY where I was also a declared psych major. You have a great high school record that will defiantly help you! While you are at Buffalo, strive to maintain a GPA that will be competitive in the transfer admissions process. Also, Binghamton is big on student involvement. This can be in various forms, such as athletics, volunteering, or any clubs. I will give you the link to the transfer undergraduate admissions page - hope this helps & good luck! Information for Transfer Applicants | Undergraduate Admissions | Binghamton University;
