Transferring for Fall semester?

Just a quick question about the MSU transfer process. I was accepted into MSU and Umich for the Fall 2011 semester and decided to go with Umich. Unfortunately I think I may have made the wrong decision and am thinking about transferring over to MSU for the Fall 2012 semester. Looking through the guidelines it says that an application stays "active" for a year following acceptance, does that mean I don't have to fill out a new application? I believe the questions are the same so it'd be silly to do them all over again. Would I just need to provide my HS and Umich transcripts? Would my AP Credits transfer and would my financial aid be the same or would I be qualified for more aid?

Thanks for the help!

I just got off the phone with an admissions rep from MSU, because I was in the same situation. I got accepted for the fall of 2011 but chose a different school, and I’m regretting it a little bit and considering transferring to MSU for the fall of 2012. When I was on the phone with the admissions rep she switched my application from fall of 2011 to fall of 2012 as a transfer. She needed my current classes, and how many credits each class was and then told me I just needed to submit my transcripts at the end of my fall quarter before they could make a decision on my file!

Hope this helped!
