Hi,
Instead of just asking my question straight out, it would be easier if I explained my situation so here goes…
Last year I was admitted and attended Purdue University as a Computer Science student. Unfortunately I went through a phase of severe depression (still recovering) and so my grades were really bad for that year. Purdue basically kicked me out and told me to re-apply once I feel like I can do better.
So what I did was move back in with my Parents in Texas and took medication and much therapy and I am feeling better now. I will be attending community college here in Texas, and then was wondering If I could apply to University of Houston and attend that university for another year to basically get credits for the Computer Science Track at either Texas A&M or UT Austin.
So here are my questions:
Do I need to go back to Purdue to fix my grades in the transcript if I do not plan to transfer the credits I earned there?
If not, am I able to apply to University of Houston as a Freshman, or do I HAVE to apply as a transfer and have my bad grades from Purdue on record?
Finally, is it allowed to transfer from Community college, to U of H and then finally a better school such as A&M or UT?
Thanks for the help
