Do I basically just ask for transcripts from my school so that I can take it to the cc, or do they send it for me? Are there any special steps I need to take to enroll in the cc or would I enroll like any other new student? Do you think this would decrease my chances of getting accepted to a UC or any other university?</p>
<p>you don't enroll as a new student. All you do is withdraw from your school, get your transcript and send it to the CC.</p>

<p>check ur cc website for more info. Most cc have specific instructions like filling out the app online and then sending in a signature thing. Where to send the transcript etc. </p>
<p>Do it asap to get a decent enrollment date.</p>
<p>it will actually increase your chances of getting into a UC, as community college students get priority.
