I'm a junior transfer applicant from the United States Naval Academy and I'm looking to get into the University of Michigan for the Winter term. I'm a Quantitative Economics major (half math/half econ) with a 3.24 GPA, but I'm looking to switch into Mathematical Sciences or pure Mathematics if I get accepted to Michigan. In high school I had a 3.4 weighted and a 3.3 unweighted GPA. I received a 28 on the ACT. I have pretty extensive extra curriculars and was an All-American water polo player in high school. I also have played polo for two years here at the Naval Acadmey. I would have a lot higher GPA, but my last semester was ridiculously hard and I ended up with a 2.63 for the semester/b. I'm also worried that my decision to apply to Michigan was really late and I **submitted my application on September 30th, the day before the deadline; however, all of other required materials made it in before then. In two years I have 72 credits to date which I believe somewhat displays a challenging course load. My transcript at the academy looks like this:
