Haven't seen this addressed anywhere, so maybe someone has some insight I could use. I'm an undergrad at Northwestern's Medill School of Journalism. Haven't enjoyed my freshman year thus far for various reasons, and I've decided transferring would be the ideal solution at this point... I've taken a high interest in various schools abroad, including UBC and McGill in Canada [neither have journalism programs], and Cardiff, Goldsmiths, London College of Communication, Westminster, Kingston, Royal Holloway, and City University London in the UK [all offer media/communications/journalism programs].

Does anyone know if credits from US schools are able to transfer to UK schools given their 3-year, highly specialized and intensive programs?

And is anyone familiar with how difficult it is to transfer to such schools? Freshman year has been tough for me; I have about a 3.2 GPA, but did very well on standardized testing and high school measures of achievement.
