Transferring from another CSU?

<p>I'm currently a freshman at a different CSU and plan to attempt transferring as upper division later on. </p>

<p>I'm curious about somethings regarding CSUF: </p>

<p>-How's the art program? (Specifically, BFA, Animation)
-For those of you that applied, what was your GPA/major and did you manage to get in?
-I noticed a requirement was to complete the "Golden Four": Oral Communication, Writing, Math, Critical Thinking. If it counts for my current school (It's also a CSU), will it count for the transfer requirement for CSUF? I'm mainly concerned because I'm taking a math class that counts for this school's GE as well as my major, called Mathematical Ideas. (A lot of people went "Huh? What is that?") Would that count for the transfer req? </p>

<p>I have never heard of a college level math class called Mathematical ideas, you usually need at least a precalc or a statistics class. May it is some form of quantitative reasoning, which is statistics by a different name. You can look it up on assist.org, just put in your current school and Fullerton, then select math in the pull down menu from you schools column and the direct transfer courses will appear.</p>
