Transferring from Boston University

In-state WM freshman entering 2nd semester at BU and not loving it. Looking to possibly transfer to UMass for Fall 2010. I have a 3.6gpa from 1st semester and looking to get at least that next semester. SATs were: 700M/600V. I got into Isenberg last year but declined to go to BU.

Also, would I be eligible for the Commonwealth College at UMass?

Thanks for any and all thoughts.

Based on your stats/gpa I wouldn’t think you’d have trouble transferring in, although I’ve heard it is tough to transfer into Isengard.

You can get into ComCol at any time as long as your gpa is > 3.2, IIRC .

Not true, you have to have at least a 3.5 gpa every semester as a transfer to be considered for comcol. I think you’ll be fine!

From the [Commonwealth College FAQ](http://www.comcol.umass.edu/faqs.html#transfers) :

Incoming transfer students are eligible for ComCol membership if they have
