I'm looking to transfer to a top undergrad business school. I'm looking into the lucrative fields of finance... such as investment banking and moving up the hierarchy. I'm now at a community college (Santa Monica College) in Los Angeles. I got my certificate of proficiency from my high school which allowed me to graduate early, so I skipped my senior year. I have taken classes at my CC since my junior year of high school. This is my first year out of high school and I started it with about 21 units. I am 17 years old which may be a huge factor for colleges to either accept or reject me.

I have a 4.0 with 25 units so far and I am taking 12. I will have anywhere from 55-60 at the end of the spring semester. Therefore, I can be a sophomore or a junior transfer student.

As for extra-curriculars, I have over 450 hours of volunteer work at a hospital. I was looking into pre-dental but not anymore.
I now intern at UBS Financial Services Inc. This is a huge firm that will lead me into an investment banking internship. People get really surprised that I tell them that I'm 17 and that I have this position. My co-intern has a master's degree in some finance field from Cornell.

I also will have a great essay and I started a club called "Entrepreneur Exhange" at my cc.

It's difficult to find students from CC's applying to top schools. I want to go to a school in a big city that I would love. A party scene would be a plus. These are schools on my common app:

NYU (Stern), UPenn (Wharton), U Michigan (Ross), U Miami, Stanford (applying just because I am legacy), Columbia, Northwestern.

I am also applying to these schools as well: USC (backup, I live in LA), Georgetown

I don't know much about these schools. I plan on visiting NYU because I'm pretty sure I will get into Stern with a 4.0. My biggest reach is Wharton @ Upenn, and I would love to go there just as much as NYU's Stern. However, I really don't think I will get in. I want to know my chances for it, and the other schools. Keep me posted!!

I'll take any other schools you recommend. Keep in mind that investment banking is very competitive and they look for students at a certain bulge bracket of schools.
