Transferring from CGS

Possibly looking at transferring, and was wondering, as I am in CGS:
Has anyone transfered from BU’s CGS to another college (as in, not BU)? Does being in CGS hurt your chances at being accepted at another college - even with a good GPA?

Thanks.

I actually know of a girl who is in CGS right now and is looking to transfer out. She was accepted to a few really good schools so I don't think being in CGS would hurt your chances at all. But she is having a problem with transferring credits, because CGS has a kind of generalized program that not many other schools have, besides NYU, her classes don't match up with any of the ones at the schools she applied to. So basically.. she has to start over as a freshman, i think she is only maybe one or two courses ahead of a regular freshman because of the liberal arts class she was able to take in CAS. So its definitely do-able with a good GPA it just might be difficult once you're accepted.

I did after first semester. CGS really shouldnt hurt you.

Thanks, I'm really glad to hear that.
