Transferring from College

Hello.

I want to apply next year and would like to improve my chances.
I'm transferring from a community college with 3.9 GPA. I'm not an honor student although I wanted to be one, but my English was bad [I came to the US 2 years ago, I'm not an international student, I'm a permanent resident.) and I don't have any recommendation letter (I didn't ask for them, ever).

My concerns and thoughts:
1. I think my GPA is high enough.
2. I don't have any recommendation letters.
3. Never did SAT or something like that (and from my reading at Berkeley's website, I don't need to).
4. I'm 23 (24 when I'll transfer). How this will affect my chances and social life at campus?
5. I'm not an honor student (and don't have any accomplishments since I finished my high school in a different country)
6. I'll be only 3 years in the country.

Thanks for your help.

Im Pretty Sure

Im pretty sure you need letters of Rec to apply to any UC . Im planning on going to CC college and transferring to Berkely im a (california resident)

^WRONG. ask your transfer questions here!: [UC Transfers - College Confidential](UC Transfers - College Confidential Forums)

Thanks, I missed this section.

I was offered letters of rec. but I never sent them in for any UC schools and your GPA is higher than mine was and I was accepted. Not sure if that helps.
