Transferring from community college to out of state university?

Is it possible? Any success story will gladly be appreciated.

Well I am currently in my second year in a community college in jersey. So far I have gotten offers from cornell uni (NY), Sarah lawrence (NY), UNC charlotte, NYIT, Uni of maryland, st. joseph, uni of tampa, texas tech, illinois institute of techn and other instate universities.

Definitely possible.
Some of those colleges are offering me 1,500-10,000 dollars a year scholarship.
Just keep your gpa high.

Good job! I guess hard work pays off. What is your GPA by the way? What other schools have you applied to, and where do you think you will end up?

bump this thread

I’ve been going to a CC in Michigan and have been accepted into Missouri University of Science and Technology, for engineering. I will be going down after christmas. Lookin forward to it!

where else did you apply to?

Got accepted into Colorado School of mines…

my advice is keep every assignment you complete.

bottlecap1990 how the hell do you get scholarship offers from colleges if you’re a transfer? what is your gpa exactly?
