<p>I was wondering what the best community college in B.C. would be for me if I plan to transfer into UBC before junior year.</p>
<p>I am currently transferring out of a great school in the US, due to financial difficulties. However, my GPA is terrible: 2.20! Thus I can’t transfer directly.</p>
<p>So, I was wondering if anybody could help me out with choosing a community college in B.C. Recommendations, tips on transferring from Canadian schools, etc.</p>

<p>Your G.P.A. won’t start from scratch at UBC. I think that if you have a certain average from BC community colleges your almost guaranteed into Faculty of Arts or Science. I think the average you actually have to have coincides with about a 2.80 at UBC or 71% average. You need to check the transfer policies and call admissions directly. Admissions to Canadian schools from within canada does not work like America, transferring is much more direct and there are raw numbers you can meet to gain acceptance into most schools.</p>
<p>Yeah I actually had a question about something similar. Im in California and trying to decide on a community college in my area but really hoping to transfer to UBC. Any UBC international transfer students from California that can offer some helpful advice?</p>
