Transferring from "heard of" to "world renown"

OK
I will be heading off to FAMU (Florida A&M University) this fall pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering on a 4-year National Navy ROTC scholarship...But I am hoping to only enjoy my stay for 2 years and then transfer my credits, myself and my scholarship to Georgia Tech.

I know that there are going to be speed bumps, but has anyone here done this (transferred to Georgia Tech successfully) before? And how was it? Any tips? Anything to watch out for?

GT didn't accept me the first time around, but my heart has been set on being a yellow jacket and receiving my first collegiate degree from the blue n gold...since I was 9.

any help at all will be greatly appreciated.

Make sure your credits match and can transfer and complete all required and recommended classes. Have a 3.0+ in your regular GPA and math/science. Once that is done you will most likely be accepted.
