Transferring from liberal arts to nursing...

<p>Hi all,</p>

<p>I was wondering what the general requirements (or standards) are for nursing programs? I know it varies from school to school...</p>

<p>Anyways, I attend a top 30 university and have done pretty terribly this year - 2.5, 2.6ish. I am not returning. I am most likely going to spend a year home at a local college or CC then transfer out again.</p>

<p>If I can get my GPA up to, say, a 3.0+ (hoping for a 3.3) what schools should I be looking at? I went to a fairly hard private highschool, had a 3.7ish there with some honors classes.</p>

<p>I would GREATLY, GREATLY appreciate any/all input.</p>

<p>Oh and just for the record - I’m retaking a class I failed this summer which should bring my GPA up from a 2.5, 2.6 to a 2.9ish, if all goes well - at the least, I’ll have a 2.7 or 2.8.</p>
