Hey guys, I'm currently a Spring semester freshman at Northeastern University, but I really want to transfer into NYU ASAP. Should I apply at the end of my freshman year or at the end of my sophomore year? I'm a US citizen, but I've lived in Hong Kong all my life (I'm a citizen there as well) if that helps at all. Though I'm undeclared at the moment, I plan on taking business. The classes I'm currently taking include: College writing, foundations of Psychology, Business and Economics Calculus, Principals of Macroeconomics, and Connections and Decisions (a thing for undecided students that offers one credit, haha). I know it's quite a jump, but people have transferred into NYU from community college so I don't think I'm shooting outrageously far. Any advice? I really want this.

why do you need to leave ASAP?

it’s not a huge jump at all, very very doable

what are your stats?

im also interested in this i was accepted in northeastern and will be accepted in BU will a transfer from NEU to NYU or BU to NYU be more achievable?

Transferring into Stern is doable, but tough. Get the best grades you can.

Got all A’s for my GCSE’s but I mucked about in the final years of high school, so I got 1800 for my SAT’s and 4 passes in my A-levels (one being an A). I want to do my best in my first two years in this university so I can transfer. Any advice?
