Hello, I'm currently a freshman journalism major at Pepperdine. I'm considering a transfer to USC because the rigor of Pepperdine's journalism program doesn't seem comparable.

I'm projecting a 3.5-3.7 by the end of this year with a 4.0 in major classes. I'll have 48 units at the end of this academic year, including AP credits.
News Assistant and Student Government reporter for the newspaper first semester.
Life and Arts Assistant Editor second semester
I'm also on the e-board for a few political/social justice organizations on campus.

I've one internship with a national newspaper since last summer and I just got another with a publishing company that will start this month.

What do you think? I could use any feedback.

$500/month

Perfect for a Spring admit or transfer student looking for affordable housing close to campus.

Fully furnished, utilities included. Sublease from December or January through May with option to renew. Parking spaces and laundry available onsite. 10 feet from a USC Tram Stop. Only 2 minutes away from campus and one block from The Row.

Email me to schedule a tour. Please contact me as soon as possible, as I’d like to move out before I go home for break.

you might want to check if those 48 units will transfer over to USC because i have a friend who is debating (after being accepted) to come to usc or nto anymore cuz so many of his classes arent transferrable

ur stats look great tho…im guessing ur trying to get into annenberg you’ll be fine

@princekarim - Thanks! I was considering that. I was looking at the transfer brochures they sent me - significantly fewer units would transfer than what I figured. I probably will hold off applying until next year, if at all. Finals also killed me and I made a 3.1 instead of my predicted 3.6. That was a bummer.

Hey gwu girl, I don’t know if you’re still considering but for the journalism program, you have to have less than 30 units at the time of transfer to even be considered. I’m currently a journalism student at Long Beach State and I have a 4.0, but with 52 units bu the end of this semester, I’ll be ineligible for transfer to the j program, so I’m applying as a Comm major.
