Transferring from Pitt?

Right now, I"m a freshman at the University of Pittsburgh, but I'm looking into possibly transferring to Drew. I'm from NJ, and I've found that I really don't like how far away I am from home. Are the schools comparable? I know Pitt is a bigger name, but otherwise, I'm wondering how they compare.

Also, can anyone give me any information on the transfer process in general? Application dates, etc.? Preferably, I'd want to come to Drew in Fall 2014.

I’m a sophomore at Drew University and I love it here. You can be closer to home yet still experience the life of the big city as the campus is only a quick train ride away from NYC.

Drew Admissions is rolling for transfers (meaning the deadline is a little extended), but they’d prefer you would submit an application by June 1st if you plan to come to Drew in Fall 2014 semester. Hope this helps, let me know if you have any more questions!
