Transferring from Suny to Top Tier Schools

What's up guys I'm thinking of transferring out of Suny Albany. I'll start with a little background information. My high school performance is horrendous at best. I did not care about anything. I spent no time preparing for the SAT's- my results were very poor. My GPA is also pretty bad it's about a 3.2.

In college I decided to turn things around. I got a 3.94 my first semester and a 3.75 my second semester as a business major. I'm pretty involved. I joined the Honors College and I'm in a volunteering society.

The schools I want to apply to are(for business-finance)......

Binghamton
Cornell
Penn(Wharton)
Michigan
Indiana
NYU
Boston College
Boston University
UCLA

So what are my chances? Any advice? Has anyone actually done this before-transferred from a **** Suny to a top tier school?

Lastly, I'm thinking of retaking the SAT's for schools like Wharton that require them even as a Junior transfer. On the other hand, I think it looks pretty silly if I take the SAT as a college student.

Any feedback is appreciated

Thanks!

Congrats on turning things around! Check out this thread and other posts by a student at SUNY New Paltz who was accepted as a transfer at Binghamton, Emory, and Wake Forest.
