Transferring from Trinity College- Possible Options?

I am currently a freshman at Trinity College in Hartford, CT. After expecting a gpa of 3.58, I ended up with either a 3.35 or 3.43 for my first semester and thus have had to re-evaluate what schools I am considering to transfer to. My SAT scores were 1850 (with a learning disability and accomodations), although I've heard those don't matter much in the transfer process. I also did a PG year at a boarding school in New England, if that means anything. EC's are pretty strong and I would not be applying for financial aid.

I want to attend a large, preferably private university- BU ranks as one of my top choices, however, I think my stat's may be too low for transfer admissions... Would applying to a certain school in BU give me a higher chance of admissions (ie School of Managment over the College of Arts and Sciences, etc)?

Also, I was wondering what other large universities there are that are both preferably private and located in cities that would be realistic possibilities based on my stat's.

Thank You!

I would suggest george Washington university in DC may be a slight reach but worth the try also American university in DC but isnt that big. Well Drexel is in Philly might wanna look at that or Fordham in ny. Those are like the only privates around ur range that I could think of in cities goodluck could u chance me back. I think you def have a chance at transferring to Bu

I’m going to “bump” this thread in hopes of some more responses… I ended up with a 3.33 for my first semester. Recently I’ve also been considering UNC Chapel Hill and W&M as possible transfer options, although I realize they are both reaches… I’m just wondering how much of a reach they actually are respectively…
