<p>I am applying for transfer admission from UCSD to Berkeley this fall and I'm just a bit confused about the GE requirements.</p>

<p>I'm in Warren College and I've started completing the GE requirements. Do I need to finish them by Spring quarter if I am admitted? There are many GE requirements, especially for a non-engineering major, so I'm a bit confused about this.</p>

<p>yes UCB prefers 99 out 100 times for a reciprocity transfer to have completed their GE requirements even in the non-engineering departments. CAL is so impacted they even want all math and chem requirements out of transfers even in non-engineering departments!</p>
