Transferring from UCSD: Options

Hey everyone (first post here):
I'm a first-year Management Science/Econ major at UCSD. Although, admittedly the weather is beautiful, I totally regret choosing to go to school here and I have been looking in to all my options as to transferring. However, my search as been extremely frustrating as I am financially limited in spending only 30k per year on school and I have come to realize that hardly any decent transfer opportunities for students not enrolled a Community College exist. I am interested in studying both math and economics, so preferably the stronger the two programs the better.
So far, I have applied to the University of Minnesota (30k OOS) and Ohio State for the fall believing that those two universities may present the best and most affordable options for an immediate transfer this fall (Ohio St. may be a stretch at this point, looks closer to 40k). Additionally, I am also considering sticking it at UCSD next year in order to transfer to another UC (Berkeley, UCLA, Davis, or Santa Barbara) which will definitely be affordable (I already paid OOS for this year and will be a CA resident). My admission into Berkeley may be a stretch but the other schools should be attainable for me.
My question is, given these options, what should I do? Also, I would like to know if there are any better options given my situation that I do not know about.
In retrospect, I wish that I had gone to Minnesota this year--or at least given it more thought than I did; I was admitted to the honors program, received a scholarship, I have family in Minneapolis and would have saved BIG time on out-of-state CA fees.
Again, any thoughts/ideas on what I should do would be greatly appreciated--trying to do it right this time around. Thank you.

Sorry, I don’t have any suggestions for you, but I am interested in hearing your grievances about UCSD.

I’ve been admitted and UCSD is probably where I will be going if I don’t get into Cal. Why do you regret attending UCSD?
