Hello everyone. I am in my second semester at UF (as a freshman) and I had a 3.08 GPA last semester. I got a 29 on my ACT and a 1170 on my SAT.
Right now I am trying to transfer to UCF for the fall 2012 semester and I applied back in November 2011. They already have my high school transcripts and my fall transcript from UF. On myUCF it still says that they are reviewing my application. Does anyone know around the time that UCF begins accepting applications, and what do you think my chances are if I get a high GPA this semester at UF?

Hey! I just recently applied for the fall term also. I honestly think you’re set! Considering the fact that you’re at UF now! Being the number one school in Florida. Also, your SAT and ACT scores are above average so I think you’re okay too I have a 3.67 college GPA but my ACT and SAT scores aren’t that great, I got a 1080 and a 22. My high school GPA was a 4.01 weighted and a 3.8 unweighted so we’ll see Good luck!!

If you haven’t already recieved your AA then you will have to apply like a high school student would. Not as a transfer. Mine said under review until I got my AA.

Actually, I already got accepted as a transfer, and I don’t have my AA. Thanks though!

You are a transfer, but if you have less than 60 credits they review your application like they would an incoming high schooler. People w/ AA’s or 60+ credits they review them differntly and not as harshly as those w/ fewer than 60 and no AA.
Congrats on getting into UCF btw!

Thanks! :)
