Hey everyone,

I'm currently a sophomore at UMD planning to transfer to Rutgers. I'm just not quite sure/haven't made a decision ..
I got rejected from UMD's business school and on impulse applied to Rutgers because of the tuition. However, I ended up getting a position as an RA at UMD.

I want to be an Actuary and so it really does not matter what I major in (Business, Econ, Math), so that is not much of a concern.

I've only been thinking about transferring because I do miss home a lot and as an RA, I would have to stay at UMD over breaks. I also haven't found people I enjoy being around .. My friends here, sadly, are just a way to pass time/I don't really enjoy hanging out with them. I have very close friends that attend Rutgers.

I'm worried about transferring to Rutgers because I'm not sure if my credits will be accepted and I'll have to adjust to a new academic atmosphere. Whereas at UMD, I already have a set 4 year plan as an Econ major and Actuarial Math minor .. I'm honestly so torn. Any advice/help would be greatly appreciated
