transferring help for mech engineering, plz!

hey!

i go to american university in washington, dc. i came in as intended poli sci, i just switched to intended physics.

my first semester, i had a 3.89. this semester i didn't do as hot, but i can pretty much guarantee that my gpa won't drop below a 3.6. i've taken a bunch of gen eds and got a bunch of AP credit. this summer i'm gonna take physics I and II at suny binghamton.

in the fall, i am taking calculus 3, linear algebra, differential equations, "meaning and purpose in the arts" (200-level philosophy general education course) and violin lessons.

i want to transfer somewhere for engineering. i'm from new york state, so i'm of course looking at buffalo, binghamton, and stony brook. where else should i be looking? does anyone know of good schools that will give scholarships to transfers?

i have good extra curriculars, mostly musical. i'm a violonist woo hoooo

thanks <3

If you want to stay in the DC area, also look at UMCP, GW, and (in a psudo-DC sense) Hopkins.

My cellist liked the music opportunities at Worcester Polytech, and he's going there this fall. I thought it was the tech school that seemed to have the most kids involved in music and theater. I have no idea about transfer stuff though...
