I'm transferring into CMC this coming Fall and for some reason got placed in the senior apartments. Should I request a change? It's a studio apartment and though I'm sure it'll be a nice place, I'm worried about having a hard time meeting people. Advice?

Will you be a Junior?

hey daph, possible for you to list your stats?
I am hoping to transfer this spring.

If you don’t mind I second what collegeAC asked. I applied for fall and didn’t get in but am hoping to this January.

I’ll be a junior.

As for my stats…I’m still amazed I got in.
Here goes
Big state school
Gpa 3.2 when I applied…again don’t know how I got in.
Good recs from profs who knew and liked me
Few good ecs, marketing chair for a student org
Interview went well I think.
I had applied as a freshman but was waitlisted…that mightve helped too.

Goodluck on your applications!! I’m super happy I got in, CMC has been my dream school since my junior year in hs

Hey daph, that’s great. Welcome to CMC.

When you arrive on campus you may want to see what other housing alternatives there are on campus. You will be living with only seniors, but the student apts. are very nice. Actually, I think you will be fine, but it may be slightly harder to meet students in your class, at least in the beginning of the semester.
