I was apathetic about the whole college process and ended up not being too thrilled with any of the places I looked at so I just applied early decision to the most prestigious and ended up convincing myself that it was the right place for me. Well, now here I am and I’m completely miserable here, it isn’t at all what I was sold or what I was expecting and now something’s happened that makes the idea of staying here for four years seem unbearable. I’m keeping my options open and looking for places to transfer to in the spring if I make that decision but my main concern is how difficult is it to get adjusted and fit in when starting in the middle of the academic year and how much harder do schools go on transfer students applying than on freshmen who haven’t been anywhere else?
