I applied as a transfer, but I was accepted as a freshman applicant. I didn’t go to BC as a freshman because I was offered a full ride at my state school and I opted to for that instead of paying 45k per year. Now my family’s financial situation has changed and they can afford the cost. My GPA is a bit low, 3.456 but I had a pretty good last semester an A+. 3 A- and a B. My SAT is pretty good, 1450 and I have fairly decent extra curriculars. Can anyone give me a gauge as to how good my chances are? Does the fact that I got in as a freshman help my application? Thanks.

That MIGHT help you, but transferring into BC is statistically harder than applying as a freshman (as told by the transfer admissions committee at transfer orientation in January).

Your SATs are pretty good, and if you can write a decent essay/you're not applying to CSOM you might get in. Transferring in is REALLY hard, though.

BC has a 16% transfer rate

That's HARD

oh...well I did apply to CSOM. Do you think I can change it?

they say you need a 3.6 to be competitive. But you never know what your profile all looks like.
