I am applying to CALS for the spring semester from another university. I have a few questions.

1.
I would like to major in AEM. I know that it is difficult to get into, but does anyone know the acceptance rate for transfers?

2.
I also have a strong interest in Mineralogy/Geology, but I did not see that listed as a major in CALS. What is the closest thing, Natural Resources?

3.
I am missing the "required" biology coursework. I contacted admissions and they said it will not exclude me from admission, but preferrance is given to applicants who have taken biology. How much will this hurt me? Is it rare for transfers to come in without all the prepatory coursework?

4.
Does CALS allow you to apply to two majors? If so, and I did not get into AEM but did get into Natural Resources, would I be able to add AEM later on as a 2nd major?
